Chattanooga, Tennessee2.
Notes for FELIX GURTIN 'FELIE' PAGE:
Felie and Deedie moved to Chattanooga in 1926 and remained there. Dad remembers 'uncle Felie' bringing
the family in a model A Ford from Chattanooga to Centertown for visits.

Chattanoogan.com, Breaking News Dan Page Wins Council Runoff. Political newcomer Dan Page
captured the runoff Tuesday for the District 3 City Council seat. Mr. Page, who is president of Greenleaf
Health Systems, won with 1450 votes to 783 for Bettye Collyer Clark. He received 64.85 percent of the vote.
Thoes two had emerged March 6 from a crowded field for the council seat being vacated by David Crockett,
who ran unsuccessfully for mayor.
Mr. Page, who resides on Hamill Road, promised to work for a balance between the need for growth and the
need to protect the environment and preserve neighborhoods.
Mr. Page captured all of the district precincts. He won in Dupont 142 to 70, in Hixon 115 to 25, in
Kingspoint 41 to 39, in Lake Hills 89 to 56, in Murray Hills 168 to 107 and Hixson he won 238 to 134.
There were two satellite voting sites, and Mr. Page won thoes 55 to 29 and 579 to 303.
Mrs. Clark, who formerly worked at City Hall as an aide to Public Works Commissioner Paul Clark and later
married him, raised $11,750 in the last reporting period. Mr Page brought in $5,301. -posted April 10, 2001,
