My Page families farmed the Indian Creek District on the Caney Fork River (now Centerhill Lake) in Dekalb County for 100+ years. My ggggrandfather Barnabas settled there in 1800 My gggrandfather Andrew was born there in 1825, my ggrandfather Alexander was born in 1860, my grandfather Vernon was born there in 1895 and they all farmed there till 1908 when Alexander located the family to Centertown, Tennessee

The seven children of Alexander and Emaline (Robinson) Page are passed on. In birth order is Andy Page b.1885 d.1964; Willie Page b.1889 d1957; Vernon Page b.1892 d.1971; Martha Page b.1895 d.1982; Lula Page b.1898 d.1980; Felix Page b.1901 d.1983; and Wesley Page b.1906 d. 1979.
Alexander b.1867 d.1940; Emaline b.1866 d.1945 They lived in the Indian Creek region on the Caney Fork River. The road from Mt Pisgah down through Capling into Spencer hollow led to a small community of farming homes on the hollow slopes.
Alexander's grandfather, Barnabas Page along with his wife and daughter were buried in a nearby hollow and his father, Andrew Page was buried at the Mt Pisgah Methodist Church. cemetery.
IN 1907/8 Alexander moved his family to the Centertown community. Uncles Andy and Willie had already married leaving 5 children in the family relocating to Centertown on the Jacksboro Road.
